Hi all,
At last, we have a start date for the next stage of the Local Plan consultation – the Local Plan Publication Version (LPPV).
It’s due to start on 24 June 2016 and run for six weeks until 5 August 2016:

As you’ll see from the news item on the BMBC website, there’s still no information on how the process will be publicised, which we’ll follow up on in due course, along with whatever information becomes available on support documentation.
It would be cynical to believe that it isn’t just luck/coincidence that the consultation falls smack in the middle of the holiday period. Regardless, we’ve written to BMBC asking for at least a two week extension. At the time of writing, no reply has been received.
We also copied into the request our MPs and councillors, asking them to support it. Cue the tumbleweed. Feel free to add your voices to the request.
We’ll keep you informed of any developments.
