Hi all,
The Keep It Green Steering Group has now been in existence for more than 12 months and has completed a number of key tasks in preparing for and responding to Barnsley Council’s Local Plan Consultation Draft 2014.
The Group now needs to focus its attention on the next stages of the Council’s Local Plan consultation procedures by freeing up some of the time of the Group members.
In particular, the Group is looking for anyone who may be interested in joining, and taking on some of the responsibilities of the Steering Group.
With this in mind the Group is inviting expression of interest from anyone who feels that that they have the necessary drive, enthusiasm and commitment in seeking to further the protection of the existing Green Belt between Pogmoor, Gawber, Redbrook, Barugh Green and Higham.
If you live in the local area affected by the Council’s proposals, have the time available to be involved in the detailed work in meeting the challenges ahead and feel that you want to become a member of the Steering Group, then please contact us at keep.it.green.group2014@gmail.
Regards,
Ian Preddy
